Best Exercise: Hack to Unlock Client Insights

With so much uncertainty I wanted to find a way to add value to you non-profit leaders, with no intent to sell you anything here. I figured I'd create these Weekly Emails I call Monday Motivational Minute because Mondays are historically the roughest days, and a minute . . . well because you're very busy people. In these, I'll add creative, quick, actionable takeaways for you to try (All in a minute read). No pressure, no need to respond, read at your leisure or unsubscribe if it doesn't add value.

Happy Lunes (Monday in Spanish🤷🏾‍♂️),

I love it, but also hate it when people recommend books to me, because it just reminds me of everything on my plate; when am I ever going to get time to read a book? So now, with all those recommendations, I have a huge list longer than my ToDo list, of books to read.🤦🏾‍♂️

So with this in mind, I want to recommend a book for you. (Joking, Joking, Don't leave)

What I do want to recommend is an amazing exercise from one of my favorite books, $1M Offer, by Alex Hormozi.

What I've realized is that we often miss what's right in front of us, the perspective of our guests. We're so focused on what WE think they need that we forget to systematically examine what's stopping THEM from accessing our services.

I'm excited for you to try this exercise, which will totally enhance your "customer" experience.

Actionable Task: On an Excel Sheet

  1. 1)Think about your audience. (Ex. Community Members )

  2. 2)In column 1. Write their detailed dream outcome. (Ex to Settle in America and be independent. (Be more detailed than this))

  3. 3)Column 2. Write a long list of all the reasons why they can't or won't use your services to get their dream outcome. (Ex. Don't know about your services)

  4. 4)Column 3. For every reason, change it to a counter positive statement ( How to get our guests to find out about our services)

  5. 5)In the next few Columns, Solve the problem with 1-3 ideas you can think of and find the cheapest, quickest way to solve the problem.

  6. 6)Execute the low-hanging solutions and watch their satisfaction grow.

Bonus: If you have a blog, Column #3 is also a content machine of topics for you to blog about.

Remember: Complexity masks. Simplicity reveals. The most transformative tools aren't the ones with many moving parts, but the ones that expose what matters most.

Have a superb week!
