MOM AND DAD ARE FIGHTING about AI, and you're caught in the middle!

Yup, Trump (Federal) and Colorado (State) are battling over Colorado's New AI Law (SB 24-205). Here's what's happening and how it impacts YOU:

The Situation: Colorado passed this bill in 2024 to regulate AI for transparency and safety. It was supposed to take effect yesterday. But Trump signed an Executive Order to have DOJ challenge state'’ AI laws, claiming " it'll slow us down and let China win."🙄 Colorado says we need safety first.

I know you got questions... I got answers:

1. 1) How does this impact you leveraging AI? For now, as long as humans make final decisions on major things (hiring, pay, firing), you're fine.

2. 2) Should you be concerned? No, for now, just watch this tug-of-war play out. Stay informed but don't panic.

3. 3) What does the law actually state? It's intended to prevent AI discrimination against protected classes. It states that organizations require disclosure if AI is used for major life-changing decisions. (Ex. hiring, firing, or pay decisions)

4. 4) When will it take effect? Pushed back from yesterday, Feb 1st to this June 30th, but still uncertain. Trump threatened to pull more Colorado funding if the law passes.

5. 5) Will it go into effect? We don't know. Stay tuned.
