Master Meetings Connection With AI

With so much uncertainty I wanted to find a way to add value to you non-profit leaders, with no intent to sell you anything here. I figured I'd create these Weekly Emails I call Monday Motivational Minute because Mondays are historically the roughest days, and a minute . . . well because you're very busy people. In these, I'll add creative, quick, actionable takeaways for you to try (All in a minute read). No pressure, no need to respond, read at your leisure or unsubscribe if it doesn't add value.

Happy top of the workweek to ya,
We have so many important meetings with people we don't know; whether it's big partnerships, Foundation Reps, and, more importantly, potential donors. Ever wish you improve those awkward meetings; maybe find some way to better connect?
I just recently read a book about networking where a guy mentioned that, when he meets with people, he always has his secretary to do a one-pager on the person he's meeting. At first, I thought, "must be nice to have a secretary to do that for you", then I had a light bulb moment, (An LED energy efficient light bulb of course) ...The book was written before AI. What if I could replicate what his secretary did, with AI?
Wink wink, I did it! I found a way to research someone before you meet with them, to better see if you are aligned.
Thorough preparation isn't about manipulation or "closing deals", it's about honoring the time others give us and creating space for genuine connection around shared values. When we understand someone's background, interests, and previous work, we can have more meaningful conversations and identify authentic alignment with our mission.
Actionable Task:
1) Go to your favorite AI tool and then click on "Deep Research" mode (The free version does light research, the paid does a much more deeper dive)
2) As an example, Copy/Paste this prompt:
I want you to be the best executive assistant. I have a meeting with, (Regis Arzu, CEO of CoVoice), and I want you to research and dig into whatever you can find out about him. I want to know what's his passion, what his values are, and what drives him.
Remember: People don't remember what you say in meetings. They remember how you made them feel. Taking time to learn about someone before you meet tells them they're not just another appointment they're an individual worthy of your investment.
Bonus Tip: If you start your meeting with a fun statement like, “As I prepared for us to meet. . . want to know what I learned about you? You can tell me if I’m wrong about anything”, that’s a conversation starter that’ll make you memorable. 😋
With this new strategy in your arsenal, you'll build more meaningful connections.
