The Toilet Paper of AI tools (you'll get it)

With so much uncertainty, I wanted to find a way to add value to you, non-profit leaders. I figured I'd create these Weekly Emails I call Monday Motivational Minute because Mondays are historically the roughest days, and a minute . . . well because you're very busy people. In these, I'll add creative, quick, actionable takeaways for you to try (All in a minute read). No pressure, no need to respond, read at your leisure or unsubscribe if it doesn't add value.(Challenge Accepted ☺️)

Happy Monday, December 15!
IT'S A GREAT DAY to hear about something super cool!
Sometimes there are these things we use daily that are the supporting cast in our lives. Like toilet paper. I don't think anyone with a magic genie would wish for toiletries, but your life would be pretty horrific without them. Do I need to remind you of 2020? 😣
Ok, okay....Where am I going with this?
Imagine no more scattered brain feeling on what the day looks like, no more missed key news that affects your funding, policy, or programs, no more feeling like you have to block time for updates and learning. Just less doom scrolling for news and more of you going to Board Meetings as the smartest person in the room, which I know you already are, but you get the point.
There's this really cool AI tool I found myself using every single morning while brushing my teeth.
Let me describe this wild App (No affiliation): Imagine you had two podcast hosts who created a custom podcast episode specifically for YOU everyday; they read your emails and calendar, break down your day in podcast format, and deliver the latest news on topics YOU actually care about.
It's like that scene in the movie where the billionaire's assistant goes to him and informs him about what's planned for the day. It's like that, but better. Aaaaaand you don't even HAVE to be a billionaire.
Sounds insane, right? But every morning when I click "play," I hear: "Hey Regis, here's what you've got going today... here's your latest news..."
After a rough few weeks with year-end chaos and Colorado Gives, I thought this might be a cool, easy way to ease back into the AI stuff without overwhelming you, plus I'm just amazed by this app and wanted to share it with you as I believe it would add value.
The tool is called Huxe and it's 100% free. (I know, sounds like a new Addams Family child)
Actionable Task: Try Huxe Free Today
Step 1: Download Huxe from your local app store (Google Play or Apple App Store)
Step 2: Only if you feel comfortable, connect your calendar and personal email or you can skip this part (It took me a month before I did this, and it completely changed my experience for the better)
Step 3: Add all the topics you'd love to hear about daily
Step 4: Start listening while you get ready in the morning.
Fun fact: You can interrupt the podcast anytime and talk to it like a real conversation! It's from the makers of Google's Notebooks LM.
Remember: The tools that change your life rarely announce themselves with fanfare. They quietly show up, prove their worth, and become as essential as the toilet paper you didn't know you needed until someone invented it.
P.S. Know another NPO leader holding it all together with grit and grace? If you find value in this, pay it forward. Forward this their way. We’re not meant to lead alone, and together, we go farther.
