You're working on Labor Day (again)

With so much uncertainty, I wanted to find a way to add value to you, non-profit leaders, with no intent to sell you anything here. I figured I'd create these Weekly Emails I call Monday Motivational Minute because Mondays are historically the roughest days, and a minute . . . well because you're very busy people. In these, I'll add creative, quick, actionable takeaways for you to try (All in a minute read). No pressure, no need to respond, read at your leisure or unsubscribe if it doesn't add value.

Happy Labor Day Monday?
Didn't anyone tell you that you don't have to do labor on Labor Day Weekend 🤦🏾♂️(Cheesy, I know, but work with me here)
You woke up at 3 AM mentally rewriting that grant. Checked emails before getting out of bed. Your family gets whatever's left of your brain space, which isn't much. You scroll LinkedIn watching others announce "exciting new chapters and experiences" while you can't remember your last real day off with no work. (Mental work included)
Here's the Truth: You've become so good at saving everyone else that you've forgotten what makes YOU happy. Not "mission accomplished" happy. But deep, personal, just-for-you ONLY happiness.
Let AI help you remember that child-like joy and excitement.
Actionable Task:
Use this exact prompt:
"You're a therapist specializing in burned-out nonprofit leaders. Ask me 10 probing questions, one at a time, to help me rediscover what genuinely makes me happy outside of work.
After each answer, dig deeper. At the end, tell me three specific things I could do TODAY to reconnect with joy."
Remember: Stop thinking your joy is a luxury, it's the fuel that powers everything else you give. No more apologizing for needing what makes you human. The world doesn't need your sacrifice. It needs your wholeness.
Wow, sorry to cut this short but I have to go do this myself..... Apparently I'm talking to me too. 😥.....
